Hilton Washington DC Rockville Hotel & Executive Meeting Center Guest Reviews
Needed to get to DC for an early meeting so wanted a location close to Metro but far enough away that I wouldn't have to get too far inside the Beltway traffic. Beautiful hotel with both indoor and outdoor pool. Large rooms, friendly staff. Parking is $15 night and the only "free" internet access (WiFi) is in the hotel lobby. Inet access in rooms is about $10 day and requires a cable, so don't expect to languish on the bed and work from your laptop. Several stores I can only access via catalog/net at home were just minutes away. Last minute needs can be met with close shopping areas (e.g. electronics store for micro USB converter for my car!) as well as lots of dining options.

My husband and I chose a hotel outside of Washington DC and relatively close to Gettysburg, as this was a vacation for us. we couldn't have chosen a better location. The Metro station is 1/2 block from the Hotel-- walk out the back doors and across the street. Perfect for getting into DC on a daily basis. We enjoyed staying outside the city and being within walking distance of several types of restaurants that were all reasonably priced. Our room was wonderful. Quite and comfortable with nice amenities. Only disappointment was the hot tub and indoor pool were closed. We did have access to the outdoor pool which was very nice.

The hotel was near to the Metro which was the best way to get around the area and into Wash DC. Close to good restaurants and shopping which is on the pike and accessible via the Metro. The staff was accommodating and very pleasant. Downside was the very high rates I paid because of the US Open.

We went to Rockville to visit my son who is in medical school in the area. My son suggested the Hilton for its location --- close to the Metro and his apartment, just a block from each other. That made it possible to easily go sightseeing in Washington, D.C., downtown Rockville, close to restaurants, etc. The hotel was super clean, and the bed and pillows were top of the line and so comfortable. I usually have problems sleeping in hotels but not this one. Great place to stay and the location was perfect for everything we needed to do and see.
