Was in town on business, but took a little time to see the beach and go to some restaurants. This is one of the gems occasionally found on business to which I would welcome the opportunity to return for pleasure. The affiliated restaurant is also great. The beach is only a short drive and the hotel is nice and quite and easy to get in and out. If you're a shopper, the mall is a short distance away on the drive to the beach.

Highly recommended - stayed two nights before cruising from Port Everglades. Boca Raton more peaceful than Miami/Fort Lauderdale - easy journey from Miami Airport by car. Roomy, clean accommodation, although soon needing redecoration. Two large TVs, coffee maker, no kettle. Huge, comfy bed. Excellent bathroom. Balconies overlook lake or Florida Turnpike. Reception staff/concierge friendly, efficient, helpful. Pleasant breakfast area with excellent buffet and fresh eggs to order included in room price. Free cocktails each evening - unrestricted with charming bar girls. Several adjacent restaurants - especially recommend City Fish Market - superb service/quality - portions overwhelming! Moderately sized pool in garden - no shallow part. Hotel overlooks pleasant lake with modern commercial complex opposite. Whilst few miles from beach, not long by car. Easy access to the Florida Turnpike (adjacent - toll) and Florida Interstate (two miles). Various good malls nearby.
