I used to believe that the Hilton name would guarantee a descent hotel stay. I did not enjoy my stay at this Hilton location. We checked in on a Thursday night with plans to go to Disney World on Friday and stay through the weekend for a wedding. To put a long story short, there was a lot of banging throughout the night that kept waking us up. We called the front desk numerous times. We found out in the morning that crews had been performing construction below us. Their error to put us in that room ruined our Disney trip because we were exhausted from constantly waking up throughout the night. The next day, after realizing their error, the hotel initially wanted to move us into another room on the other side and give us breakfast for 1 day. I argued for more retribution, including a refund. They did not agree on the refund. They agreed to put us in a larger room on the other side of the building with free breakfast for our 3 days. To me, that was still not enough. They should have refunded at least our Thursday night stay. They also charged us for parking throughout our trip, which I think was absurd given the circumstances. Call me old fashion, but when you unknowingly put hotel customers in rooms close to construction zone, you should do everything possible to remedy the situation, especially when people normally stay at your hotel to go to theme parks the next day. This Hilton did not do so and that is why they will get a bad review from me and hopefully lose their 4-star rating. Also, we only had housekeeping come to our room once during the 3 days we were at the hotel. We had to call for towels. This place is definitly not a 4-star hotel.

The hotel is a 5 minute walk to Downtown Disney and a free bus ride to the Magic Kingdom. The hotel gave us a free buffet breakfast which was very good. Easy access off I-4 and Oscela Parkway. We would stay again.

HOTEL is great, terrific location. Burgers at the main Bar are excellent at all hours. Staff at the front desk, (lady from Peru) is informative, fast and friendly. rooms are excellent, well priced for the stars it has. I would definitely stay there again.

Hilton suggested the use of MEARS shuttle to get to the hotel from the airport. Mears was terrible, the wait was long, and there were 10 people in the van going to 10 hotels. Further, the van had 475,000 miles and was squeaky cramped and uncomfortable. Upholstery was ripped. Hilton should not recommend them. The hotel was great once you get there.
