Hilton London Hyde Park
4 out of 5

The difference here is all about the staff.Like many Hiltons I have stayed in they make the place special. In fact they bend over backwards to help out. The team in dining and bar are just great - and clearly enjoy their work. Front desk is also exemplary. The room however was (one of the better ones with a park view) - very small. Sheesh - i have stayed in some small rooms but this is now the smallest - not sure what a lower cost room would look like - maybe have to sleep standing up? Plumbing also questionable. But location and staff make you forget that pretty quickly.

Frienly staff, spacious rooms, and the usual excellent Hilton breakfasts. This is a straight enough walk from Leicester Square when you're feeling energetic (give yourself an hour), but it's also directly above Queesnway tube station on teh Central line - wonderfully convenient, and perfect after a long day's sightseeing.

Great hotel, central to London and right next door to the tube. Amenities can be pricey but just plan ahead and use the stores around the corner and you will be fine.

Was not up to normal Hilton standards. For the location, was reasonably priced. Room near the elevator was very noisy - people walking by the room and talking

Good location with an Underground station next door and restaurants / shops nearby. Room was clean, service was good and breakfast was good. Bathroom was small and in need of updating.

Paid for a delux room with large opening windows and light and airy atmosphere, instead given a room where the windows were covered over so you couldnt see out as they were onto a industrial outlook of vents and pipes that were noisy too, we could see that out of the couple of inches the window would open! very poor but the staff were nice and it was very clean.

Rooms are getting a little old and tired, shower in the bathroom could have been better, but service as good as always.

A good quality, centrally situated hotel. Shame that there is no turn in for vehicles to drop off passengers.

Really warm welcome , clean room, comfortable and with a view over the park, brilliant. Breakfast was average but everything else superb, and with queensway tube under the hotel it is so easy to get around from here.

Very nice accomodations. Close to Baywaters Tube stop. Quiet area, access to Kensington Park across the street. Shops nearby, short walk to Nottinghill Tube station. Nice, clean rooms with good service. Would stay there again.
