January 2012. Great location: 2 blocks from the train station, walking distance to "Old Innsbruck", caters to skiers with a shop around the corner and a bus to the mountains. Helpful staff. Wonderful view of the mountains. Decent restaurant. All ruined by **SMOKE**. If you are sensitive to cigarette smoke, don't even bother. The whole hotel is marked with no-smoking signs but apparently that doesn't actually mean anything. We arrived the first night and couldn't escape the smoke pouring in from the bathroom ventilation. If we hadn't pre-paid the rooms (no refunds), we would have checked out and gone elsewhere. The staff moved us to a higher floor further away from the casino, but we couldn't escape the smoke entirely. Granted it wasn't as bad, but the smell was still there, especially in the bathrooms. I feel bad for the staff as they were genuinely trying to be helpful, but they are caught in a no-win situation due to the building's ventilation.

perfect -- the hotel room have everything that you want and easy access to Train station. Ask for a smoking room if you require.This the best hotel I stayed in ,in my 10 years of travelling.
