The staff were very friendly and helpful. The shopping centres are not very far away and the train station as well. Good place to stay

Excellent service, particularly from the concierge and reception staff. An enjoyable stay. Terrific room and wonderful breakfast.

There is a difference between Hilton's having just spent three nights at the Hilton Schiphol, but then there is a large price difference as well. I found the Rotterdam Hilton smaller and a bit worn. The staff were great however, except for the nuisance created by housekeeping coming along and inquiring whether the room was satisfactory. This happened four times in two days while I was there. The very first time was embarrassing in that I was not dressed and she came into the room. On the whole I would say that the atmosphere was satisfactory but not the greatest. The following day I returned to the Schiphol Hilton and then to Canada.

Good hotel (for the 80s). Is a bit outdated. Although it is in the center and close to shops, subway and trainstation, I would not pay the normal amount for a room at this Hilton. As I paid the "January sale" rate of 50 euros for a double including breakfast I was very pleased with my stay :-)
