The Hilton Hotel Newcastle is located on the south side of the Tyne, close to road links on the A1. Newcastle's main railway station and Central subway station are an easy walk from the property which is also just 20 minutes from Newcastle International airport.

The Hilton Gateshead is a great hotel well placed, lots of must have amenities - gym, business center conference etc. We always pay a little extra and take the Executive rooms - the value is that with breakfast - drinks and snacks included it actually works out cheaper than the standard room - if you find the right rates.... We stay here when visiting friends and family in South Shields - it is close enough to get there quickly but far enough away to give some "personal time"! The views over the river are really nice.

Fantastic location overlooking the Tyne Bridge ( perfect for an ex pat Geordie brought up on the banks of the Tyne). The staff were brilliant very friendly, welcoming but also profesional. We had a thoroughly enjoyable three days.

Good hotel, about 5-10 min walk to the city centre. Buffet breakfast was of Hilton quality.

Excellent hotel, with great location for access to centre of Newcastle and views over the River Tyne. Breakfast buffet is highly recommended!
