My choice is to always stay at Temple Terrace. The hotel is excellent, including the food / restaurant. Of course, I haven't tried everything on the menu but what I had was as good as any mainstream restaurant, and the service was excellent. Comfortable beds; nice rooms. Most of all, if you are coming from the north, you avoid all of the downtown traffic, which to me is a big +++ when arriving and departing.

Was not given a non-smoking room, as requested when I booked thru [...]. The fine print indicated I was supposed to confirm a non-smoking room with the hotel directly. Also had to take 2 doubles instead of a king bed room, but that was minor compared to having to accept a smoking room.The majority of the staff was pleasant and attentive, however the front desk gentleman at check-in, didn't seem to care that he didn't have a non-smoking room for us.[...]needs to embolden that minor detail, about confirming any requests with the hotel prior to check-in, although there's a lot of competition out there, so not sure I'll be using [...]or Hilton again.
