I hardly know where to start--but if there were 10 stars for friendly and helpful staff, that's what I'd have chosen for this review. The location was close enough to be very convenient for the Base, and right off a major traffic way, making it easy to get into Chicago and the surrounding areas, and also to Wisconsin, where we spent a day in Milwaukee. The bed was heavenly; the hotel clean and immaculate--everything seemed new and fresh and perfectly maintained. There's even a decent restaurant in the hotel. We had a great time in Chicago and would love to go back sometime! I highly recommend it for anyone going to a USN Boot Camp graduation!

Everything was brand new and very clean! It appeared that we were nickle and dimed for all the little extras including the morning newspaper ($1.50 left at our door). Also we ordered room service one night (2 pizzas), l they delivered two 10 inch instant pizzas (which were terrible). The pizzas cost $27.00! They had a little store which included bottled water, sodas, popcorn, etc. All items were very pricey! The meal we got at the hotel grill was excellent though and the price was average! Our overall experience was good although a future visit would include us bringing our own drinks, newspaper and NOT ordering room service!

No complaints other than a rather odd one: The room was TOO large. I've been in some quite small rooms that made it difficult to get to the bathroom, but this was the other extreme. We felt sort of exposed or "lost" and there was as odd lack of privacy in such a large room. This is a personal preference and doesn't reflect on the overall quality of the room or service, which was just fine.

Hotel was nice, however when booking with Orbitz you never know the kinda room your going to get. I booked a 2 queen bed type room & I got a handicapp/little person room. So when we took showers the whole bathroom floor filled with water.
