Great location. Nice rooms. Ideal for a first stay in Austin.

I had never been to Austin. The room was great, a nice view of the city. The staff displayed excellent hospitality and the location right in downtown Austin was perfect. I could walk in less than 3 minutes to my meetings at the conference center. The hotel is adjacent to the 6th street district and walkable to Red River district and the capitol as well. Inexpensive cabs to get over to SoCo for shopping and great food truck action.

Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The location was perfect. One block off of sixth street, where all the action is. Would definitely recommend this hotel to friends and family.

The ventilation in our 17th floor room was uncomfortable. We called the front desk where an engineer was sent quickly. The facilities engineer determined that the AC had been turned off and only the fan was on. He grabbed a ladder and switched it to AC and it was great. The room had basic cable where every channel worked except VHI, which was on permanent mute. Bummer as it was showing SNL through out the week. Continental breakfast is not included, costing $9.99 plus tax. The restaurant staff for breakfast is a lot friendlier than the front desk staff. The hotel lobby does have a computer with internet, however their printer was down, so I had to print my boarding passes at the front desk’s computer, so that was nice. Pretty good stay for the price. Location. Location. Location. The location what makes this hotel’s stay from okay to good.
