Booked guaranteed room. Within cancellation time, we called to indicate late check in & was told "room ready for you." Showed up at hotel 11:00 pm & told "no room" sorry owner showed up. " Staff unhelpful & snotty. My son says "worst experience ever had in my life at hotel."

Check in is at 3pm, I didn't get checked in until 430pm because my room wasn't ready, and I was with two small children waiting in the lobby. Once I was in my room changing, maintenance opened my room door with out knocking and started to walk in until they noticed me and shut the door. But the hotel was nice, staff needs improvement and parking is $31 a night, I wasn't told that during booking online.

I usally Love staying at his hotel but this time did not get what was promised. I booked a room with an oceanview, kitchenette, and balcony. Our room had none of these and the bed was not very comfortable.

We celebrated our anniversary with a weekend trip to Ft. Lauderdale Beach. Our room and view at the Hilton was amazing. We stayed in the King suite on the 22nd floor with ocean view on one side and Ft. Lauderdale skyline on the other side. We had excellent service with one exception- room service. We ordered breakfast at 8 am and were told it would arrive in 30 minutes. After 2 hours it still had not arrived. After an apology from the manager we accepted an offer for free breakfast. He told us that it would be up right away. After waiting another 30 minutes we cancelled our order. It arrived 10 minutes later. Unfortunately by this time we were ready to go out for the day. Apparently their ticketing system was down. I would not recommend ordering room service. Our room had a kitchenette, so we stopped at Publix (grocery store) and bought our own breakfast for the next day. Cheaper and faster! Also, be prepared to pay for valet parking ($31/ day). However, there are several great restaurants, shops, and bars within walking distance of the hotel.

My stay at the Hilton was wonderful. The were two things that I did not like. Outside of the two comments below, I would stay there again. 1. Waiting for the elevators was terrible. I would think for such a large corporation that they would have their elevators programed to figure out the number of elevators that needed to be active at one time. There were times I was waiting over 5 minutes for an elevator. My friends stayed at the Ritz Carlton and there was never a wait. 2. Some of the taxi drivers were very rude. They tried to get more money out of me because I would be going short distances.
