Highfield Hotel Sydney Guest Reviews
When booking I was not aware it was a backpackers. My husband had a procedure at St Vincents Hospital and we were not prepared to use the bathroom facilities. Left immediatly.

For the money paid the Highfield Hotel was good value - well located - very near Kings Cross Station - room clean and servicable - self service light breakfast - quieter and more private than a backpackers.

Ok for college backpacker trying to save a dollar. I found this place old and run down not to mention noisey.weeends brought the under age drinkers and heavy traffic. I would not reccommend this place to adults over 25. The n'hood restaurants were convenient and food generally good. Location was an easy walk to downtown and subway just 1/2 block away.

Hardly a hotel, OK if you are a backpacker, the room shown on the internet was not what we received, had no room to put our luggage as there was an extra bed in the room taking up what little space there was. The toilets were not cleaned often enough (communal) as someone was sick on the floor and it was there for around 12 hours making it extremely unpleasant for anyone else to use toilets or showers, also the kitchen was kept very untidy and quite unclean, we only risked making toast and tea in the morning. Thankfully we were only there for 6 days, couldn't have taken any longer.
