Location
Surrounded by clear turquoise water, coral reefs and thousands of fish, this Melanesian style resort is set in the South Pacific. The island is located 10 minutes from Port Vila, the capital city of Vanuatu, where the international airport is located.
Rooms
Accommodation on Hideaway Island is built with a traditional Melanesian flavour, scattered amongst the jungle and tropical plants that cover the island. The style and standard of the accommodation units ranges from private oceanside bungalows, overlooking the water to quad share dormitories with shared facilities.
Restaurant
Whether you are after a simple burger, a slice of cake or pie, or wonderful fresh seafood, there will be something at the beach bar and restaurant that tempts your palate. The food served at the beach restaurant is a real treat and produced from the freshest of ingredients.

For guests at Hideaway, there are a number of water and land based activities to keep you occupied. From sitting and watching the sunset over the marine sanctuary, indulging in a diving course, joining daily snorkel safari to using the resort as a base for a host of day tours, you can find almost endless options awaiting for you.

A lovely resort far enough away from Port Vila for good snorkling and island feel, but close enough if you need to get to Port Vila which one only needs to do once. Chalets were very well designed and comfortable, staff extreamly helpful which all resulted in a fantastic holiday. Restuarant was reasonable and good compared to Port Vila. Definately recommend it !

We stayed in a one bedroom bungalow on Hideaway for 6 nights - it was one of the best holidays we've had - fantastic location outside of Port Vila township, great snorkelling and diving straight from our door! Lovely team, always very helpful. Definitely plan to return again.

Nice stay however did not know a generator was going to be making noise 24/7 but then again it is Vanuatu Linen dirty and not changed for 4 days Rats dirtied the linen not us !

This is a hotel where its all about the location its great if you are into marine life to go scuba diving and snorkelling. However I would not recommend it for an extended stay (no more than two nights) as there is not much else to do and its so far away from the town. The food and drinks were good quality but definitely on the expensive side. There is also no room service, air conditioning or T.V's which is quite dissapointing considering the price you pay for a bungalow.
