This Hotel was very small but clean and very close to the city with a bus stop right out side the Hotel, lots of cafes Bakeries and shops. The Hotel we booked was supposed to be an aparthotel to take advantage of all the bakeries and shops nearby but was dissapointing as this hotel was just a very small room but nice and clean and like most European Hotels two single beds pushed together. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

This was a good hotel, quite well located and the information on the website was very accurate. I would definitely consider booking the hotel next time I am in Paris.

I had single room with good discount. For a single room quite sufficient size, not closely. An exception - an arrangement sanitary technicians: it is inconvenient to use a toilet bowl. In number there was a window, the conditioner, necessary furniture: a case, a table, a chair, a bed (truth not double as it was promised at the order, but for one person more than the sufficient size). Very worthy breakfasts, though and without a variety. To the underground - five-seven minutes on foot. From minuses: mediocre enough sound insulation, an inconvenient arrangement of sockets (use of the socket at a door does not allow to enter or leave, the second socket under a table). At booking there was very essential discount therefore has chosen hotel about what has not regretted.

An excellent budget choice. The rooms are small, but perfectly adequate. The bathroom is fine. The inclusive breakfast is substantial, with a wide variety of foods to choose from. It is close to the Charonne metro station and a 10 minute walk from the Bastille underground. The surrounding area has plenty of shops, bars and cafes close by.

We stayed for 5 nights. We changed from a more expensive hotel to Bastille Charonne because we got stuck in Paris with the "aid" of the ash cloud. We both think that this hotel is way better than the earlier 4-star hotel. The room is big enough, quiet enough and clean. Also the toilet is good. This hotel doesn't have any fancy services or facilities but on the other hand, who needs them in the middle of Paris? And therefore the price is low. The reception people and breakfast were very good. I would definitely stay there again on a budget trip. But don't get that wrong, Bastille Charonne is a good hotel, not a hostel. Oh, the only bad thing was the creapy elevator. Not a problem for most of the people but for claustrophobics the noise might be scary.
