Hermitage Hotel Montreuil Guest Reviews
Very nice hotel in the quiet walled town of Montreuil. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly throughout our stay, and went out of their way to help with our requests. The room and bathroom were in good condition, as were the public areas of the hotel. The only criticism we had was that the cocktail bar was unable to dispense cocktails owing to the barman being off (draft and bottled drinks were available courtesy of the receptionist!). The breakfast in the morning was a feast, and we had several visits to the buffet bar! All in all a very decent hotel which was excellent value for money.

A very professional set up..well appointed.. no atmosphere though. Do make sure they take off yur deposit when you pay the bill though!

My husband and I travel regularly to France and on our way home like to stop in a hotel near the ferry port of Boulogne. Our usual hotel is in Le Touquet but recently the prices have gone through the roof so we decided to try a hotel in Mountreuil. The Hermitage offered excellent value for money. The room was spacious and very clean and we even got full english breakfast included in the price. We would certainly stay there again, perhaps booking direct so we didn't have to pay an extra charge.

This good sized hotel is located in a lovely square right in the middle of Montreuil sur Mer. There is private parking but we just parked outside on the square and it was fine. Excellent location for exploring Montreuil - the Saturday market was on and we also strolled aroung the ramparts. The town is only 12 miles from Le Touquet - Etaples is worth a visit also. We arrived just in time to eat at the Jeraboam (?) restaurant and it really was a wonderful meal. This restaurant is in the hotel but apparently a different concern. Our room was a decent size at the back of the hotel and everything about it was good. The breakfast was plentiful and varied. Altogether an excellent hotel for a weekend break in my opinion. We can also recommend Le Cafe des Arts in Le Touquet for an evening meal.

Good location in very attractive town. Helpful staff and wide choice at breakfast. Large room with very comfortable beds. Will certainly stay there again.
