Location
Heritage Inn hotel is centrally located in the Sea World Sports Arena area. San Diego's best attractions including the world famous San Diego Zoo, Mission Bay, Downtown San Diego, the Gaslamp District and the Mission Beach.

I phoned in advance to let the know I would be checking in late and they said they had no knowledge of the booking. I was tired at this point so said would sort it when I got there as they had rooms free. Got there and same answer, I even provided them with the contact details for booking site to verify but that had to be done by the manager so I had to give credit card for first night and see manager in morning. It was resolved in morning but the staff had never heard of booking site before. Not a good start. One of the reasons for choosing this hotel was the free wifi. This only existed in the "lobby" and when I asked about the connection in the room all I got was "it can be difficult to connect, but at least it's free". I'd describe this more as a motel than hotel. Walls are thin and noise travels easily from room to room. I could hear tv from next door which was on late. Hotel is close to sea world but that is it. I'd suggest staying in downtown as it is easy enough to get out here. Not as easy to get late public transport in evening from downtown to here.

The location was good for us because we had to be at a triathlon near by. So it took us 5 mins by car to get to Sea World. My only issue was with the other guests that had NON Smoking rooms, but felt it was fine to smoke outside of their rooms, where the smoke would the waft into our room. It;s especially aggravating when you have a 3 month old. Other than that, It was fine for our needs. We didn't have time to try out the pool or hot tub. I would stay here again. Possibly for next weekends race in the same area.

The staff woman was rude and lazy. Experience 2 times of bathroom toilet flooded. The floor is sticky and damp. bad place to stay.

We were there for a short get-away, the area was not good. I did not feel safe. They said they were a short distance from downtown they were quite a ways. The.re breakfast was coffee and donuts, no juice

Simple says it all a place to sleep down the street from sea world and the beach. fridge and iron in room, however no hair dryer. community microwave is in a game/laundry room near registration. They do offer coffee and pastries for breakfast. I felt our needs were met, no frills. Just what you pay for. I would stay here again.
