Harding Hotel

Within walking distance of many tourist attractions and handy for bus service. Close to many restaurants and cafes. Situated next to Christ Church Cathedral and on the edge of Temple Bar area of Dublin. Only stayed one night but would recommend this hotel for comfort and location for a longer stay.

Hotel is in a great location, not right in the center of the hustle and bustle, but very easy walking distance to everything. I had a single room with a nice view over Christchurch that was well worn, but kept very clean with fresh towels everyday. Having a fridge was great. Given some other reviews, I was concerned about potential noise, but the Christchurch bells and bar downstairs were never an issue. Hotel staff was friendly and helpful.

Another great stay at the harding hotel. All the staff were friendly and helpful, and the room was clean and warm. Never heard any excessive noise outside apart from the cathedral clock chiming every 15 minutes, but you soon get used to that. In a great location, 5 minutes from Temple Bar and Grafton Street, and 10 minutes from O'Connell street. Airport bus stops 1 minute walk from the hotel.

first time stayed in the Harding Hotel, found the hotel reception and the reseption staff excellent," first time impression last's." The hotel room was again excellent to accomodate our need's, we were short of nothing in the room, cleaners were in everyday also providing clean towel's with no intrussion to ourselves what so ever. Every member of staff we came across at anytime were very pleasant, frendly and respectfull. If there was anything to cmplaine about it would be the disturbance of noise from the pub under the hotel but again knowing we were in a city full of activity some negative's have to be expected. On this end i would recomend the Harding to anyone with enthusiasum and would go back again Thank you

Great location. Walking distance to Temple Bar, Guinness factory, O'Connell/Grafton Street, Castle. Next door to Darkie Kelly's bar with great live music, although not unduly noisy. Attached Copper Alley bistro has good menu and not too expensive. Breakfast served here until 12:00. Staff generally helpful. One room already had an occupant, but reception soon sorted the problem. Double rooms were a good size; singles were a bit on the small side. Rooms were clean and well maintained. The shower was brilliant - hot and powerful! There aren't many 'social' areas in the hotel itself - there are some seats in reception and on the mezzanine, and for drinks you have to go through to the bar in Darkie Kelly's, which gets very crowded if there is a band playing. For a few days visit to Dublin this hotel is ideally located, perfectly acceptable, and relatively inexpensive. It is recommended and we could not hesitate to return.

Grate Hotel for price and its at a premium location in the mist'd of Dublin's tourist area. The staff was very helpful but something that i thought was odd is that i never saw any men working there during my stay. Be sure to get the breakfast included in your hotel price because it will cost you about 9euro if you pay by cash. Be forewarned though that although the rooms are nice they are very small.

Only stayed for one night, my first time in Dublin. This was a great choice of hotel - low price, great location (about 5 mins walk from Temple Bar) and friendly staff. I'd be happy to stay here again on my next visit to Dublin.

I am very happy with the Hotel Harding and have stayed there previously. The location is very good - across from Christchurch and very near the Temple Bar. If there is one drawback to the hotel, it would be that the drinking establishment in the basement can be quite loud in the evening. I typically have stayed on the 4th floor and it has been fine for me. In fact, my room had a fan so I could close the (sound proof) window and still get some circulation. For the price/value, I recommend the Hotel Harding.

My husband and I stayed here over the New Year period .Although early, we were given a room immediately although it was a back of the hotel directly exit to the bar adjacent with the back of the hostel on Dame Street. The noise wasn't unbearable but if we shut the window the room could get a bit too hot. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff. The breakfast was very simple but just how I like it. We ate in the hotel one evening and although it was bit expensive, it was generally a very good meal. A few areas in the bistro that do look a little worn. Our room was huge and spotless as well as one of the cleanest bathrooms I have seen in a hotel. The safe in reception not having a charge and generally a very good and the staff being so polite and helpful made our trip a very good one... I got such a good rate over [website] I would definitely recommend this hotel but would request a room at the front of the hotel.
