Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Albuquerque Guest Reviews
The biggest thing probably hurting this hotel is the clientel. We have stayed twice now at the Hard Rock ABQ with our kids while visiting relatives in town. The hotel is nice enough, the rooms are clean, and there is a nice pool for the kids to play in. There was no mini fridge and the TV took almost 2 min to come on after making clicking noises over and over again. The kids were really surprised too when they tried to add more warm water to their bath and cold water came out the shower head above them even though it was not set to. The problem is during both trips we lost at least one night of sleep due to drunk neighbors coming in during the middle of the night, cussing and swearing and waking everybody up. Our first night this stay we had to call the front desk 3 times and finally after their third warning security evicted them from the hotel. Again not exactly the hotels fault that they have rude guests. The biggest thing I would have liked would have been a followup the next day to see if we felt the problem was resolved. When we checked out they did not even ask how our stay was. I'm really not sure if we will ever stay here again after having two bad experiences with other guests. As other people have mentioned the casino is way too smokey. You'd think a more modern hotel like this would have a better ventalation system.

We got married on 11.11.11 and decided to stay somewhere we had not yet visited and spend our money domestically in the U.S. The first part of our trip was relaxing in Santa Fe and we wanted an exciting place to stay in the city of Albuquerque. This was a one resort destination! Luxury, security, gaming, excellent staff, room service, and employees. We could have not asked for more!

After reading reviews, I was very nervous about staying at HRA. BUT much to my surprise, the place was quite, my room was very clean and very comfortable. The staff was nice and helpful. Keep in mind this stay was on a Wednesday night, not a weekend. I could tell getting close to the casino the smoke was insane but I didn't smell it in the lobby or my room.

The two women that helped us could not find our reservation and were rude. They attempted one time to find with our confirmation number and told us we did not have a room and gave up. The man that did find the room was nice. The room was not the room we had requested with resort view, the TV did not work and there was not a coffee pot in the room.
