I used this hotel as a home base to visit D.C. and Williamsburg. The drive to Williamsburg was a breeze, about 2 1/2 hours. The hotel shuttle takes a bit of time but will deliver you right to the metro station so there's no need to drive into Washington D.C. Ask in advance because the shuttle operates at odd hours, although the management was extremely accommodating to my requests. The staff are all friendly and very helpful. The room was quiet, safe, and comfortable. The full breakfast was served in a nice dining area and included healthy choices like yogurt, fruit, and cereals, along with treats like danish and make-your-own waffles. Complimentary hot drinks available round-the-clock. My only complaint would be that there was not a lot of shaded parking available, but this is only an issue during the summer months.

My husband and I had to be in the DC on family business. We chose this hotel mostly because it was conveniently located for our needs. When we got there we found a modern, well-kept, comfortable, upscale hotel at a reasonable price (especially with [...]!) Our only complaints were minor - we would like the pool to have been heated and a hot tub would be nice. Breakfast was yummy and had variety. We would definitely stay here again!

Went to DC area to celebrate girlfriend's 40th. Used trip adviser dot com as I usually do and gave this Hampton Suites a try. Was not disappointed! Great room/comfortable bed, great breakfast, great customer service, great value. The ONLY thing I'd recommend changing is the processed scrambled eggs for breakfast - not a fan. Everything else for b'fast was way above average. Would stay there again!
