My granddaughter received an internship at Disney so we decided to make a little family trip of it. The hotel was very clean, the room was a little warm, and the bedspreads were lumpy, like they had been washed a LOT. Like I said it was very clean. I did have a problem with taking a shower. The base of the tub was very slippery, I found I had to hold to keep my balance. I have balance issues anyway, and this made taking a shower very nerve racking. They need to put shower mats in the rooms. One of the kids slipped in the tub, but luckily he was not harmed. I would stay here again, because of the cleanliness, but I will take my own shower mat.

We were very pleased with the welcome we received as well as the comfort and convenience of the hotel. Its location is ideal for visiting the attractions in the area and the breakfast is quite adequate. It is an inexpensive alternative to staying within the Disney property.

This was my family's first trip to Orland, and we basically spent all of our time at Disneyworld. While this hotel was fine for that, I think that next time I'll be staying on a Disney property. This Hampton Inn was fine. The staff was very nice. The pool was good on the day we took a break. There were restaurants and pharmacies within walking distance (but not super close; about 3/4 of a mile). The rooms were always cleaned and the beds made, although once we didn't get new towels and another time or two it felt like the beds hadn't been made very well. The shuttle to Disney World was okay, but not ideal. The reason is the timing. The first run in the morning leaves at about 8:40, and though it's free the driver asks for tips. If you want to get to any parks besides Epcot at opening, you won't make it. Not by about 30 minutes, as once you get to the Epcot parking you have to catch the monorail or bus to the other parks. That was in the morning. In the evening, the shuttle picked us up too late. Most of the time, we ended up taking a taxi back to the hotel. About $25-$30 per ride. Expensive, but way cheaper than renting a car and parking at Disney. In addition, Disney has a free shuttle service to and from the airport. It's slower than a taxi or car or shuttle service, yes, but it's free. For our group of 7, taxi service to and from the airport was going to be about $100 each way, except we lucked out and on the trip to the hotel we got a rental car for $60. Even then, I had to drop the car off at the rental place, and walk two miles back to the hotel. So, in summary, here's why next time I will go to a Disney resort: despite having to pay for breakfast, it will probably be cheaper because I won't be paying for transportation to and from the hotel; also, I will have the convenience of being able to get to and from the parks at whatever time I want, without having to pay for a taxi or arrange my schedule around an adequate but lackluster shuttle service.

The hotel was clean and the staff friendly and helpful. The shuttle from the hotel to Disney locations greatly reduced the hassles of driving and parking, but reduced the flexibility of coming and going.

First room was smelling musty. After that keys were deactivated and the person at the front desk did not know how to reactivate them

I spent a week in orlando for Disneyworld. This hotel was near the resort yet not right inside where they charge you an arm and a leg. This place is clean and well kept. The staff is friendly and helpful when needed. I'm not sure what the rating is but I would give this place a 3.5. I like the comp breakfast and shuttle to Disney. The only thing is the shuttle runs on a time where you really have to manage time well and lucky I did.

Check in was smooth and we felt welcomed. The clerk mentioned their guarantee of satisfaction and explained the breakfast arrangements. She asked if the second floor was OK and I asked for a first floor room and was accommodated immediately.

We went to FL to watch the Launch. Went to Cocoa Beach for the afternoon. The next day was spent at Epcot. We usually have grandchildren with us when we travel to FL. This time, just us....nice for a change.

Stayed at the hotel on business for a trade show taking place at the Orange County Convention Center, Orlando Florida. From free wifi to free breakfast the amenities were just right. Exercise facility outside 1st floor elevators, along with a swimming pool are an extra perk if you have the time to use them. Friendly staff. I stayed on the fifth floor with view of pool. Only feature that could use improving was the water pressure in the shower and sink, very weak. A couple of bulbs were out (no big deal).

we went to disney to meet up with other members of our family. this hotel was one of the best off disney premises we have ever stayed in. we have been there several times as we are florida residents. the room was nicely appointed and clean. the breakfast, a time and money saver, was plentiful and good. i would definitely return and recommend this hotel to all.
