I should start out by saying I was not in town sightseeing since I live in the area - I stayed here for one night while attending a friend's wedding, solely because the couple provided a shuttle between the venue and this hotel. It wasn't too expensive for the area, was clean, the bed was comfortable, I could control the room temperature, and it came with a free hot breakfast (including a waffle station). So for what I paid it wasn't bad. The staff definitely made an effort to be friendly and helpful. There were several negatives to the place, though, too. The door to my room stuck so that I needed to use my shoulder to get it open every time, there were lots of weird mechanical noises (and/or highway noises? I couldn't tell) in the room, and the hotel is located in a strip mall and I would have had a hard time finding it had I not heeded the warnings of previous reviewers. There were also little touches that made it a little less classy, such as labels on the light switches telling you which lamps they controlled. Helpful, maybe, but tacky. In all, though, I just wanted a comfortable place to sleep and it served that purpose very well.

It was totally fine - but not nearly as nice as any of the other Hamptons I stayed in on my trip and that was the kind of reliability I was going for. It was in a rundown dingy shopping center - although it was at least really convenient to the highway. But the carpet felt damp in my room - it was just a muggy feeling, the bathroom was tiny - it just didn't feel very nice for the price. And there was a HUGE cockroach in the elevator - the only one I saw luckily. It just seemed small overall like they tried to cram a hotel in a location but they didn't have enough room to meet the standards they generally set for their other locations. The parking lot was a scary back alley dump filled with dumpsters as well. Yuck. There are plenty of others in the Baltimore area - I'd opt for one of those.
