Location
Located midway between Daytona Beach and historic St Augustine, the Hammock Beach Resort is on a beautiful stretch of the Atlantic coast, famous for its surfing. St Augustine, the oldest inhabited city in the U.S., has a defensive fort and a restored historic district complete with craft workshops and an old schoolhouse.

Hammock Beach Resort offers luxurious suites and villas which are ideal for couples and families. Furnished to a high standard they all have comfortable sitting areas, kitchen facilities and balconies.
Restaurant
Fine dining is available at Delfinos, Hammock Beach Resort's executive chef restaurant. Mouthwatering steaks, Italian dishes and seafood are offered accompanied by a wide selection of wines. The more casual Atlantic Grille serves great family classics all day.

Hammock Beach Resort Palm Coast Guest Reviews
Very clean and well kept. Lots of attention to detail. Excellent staff who go out of their way to make you happy. My only complaint is that the food and drinks were too expensive. The mandatory 20% gratuity on all food and beverage makes an already over-priced hotel ridiculously expensive... strawberry daiquiris for $15! South Beach isn't even that expensive, and this is Palm Coast - far from a fashionable hot spot. Stayed in suite 234 and the corridors leading to that part of the hotel smelled awful. The smell lingered for the 4 days we stayed at the resort... the halls smelled like stagnant food or like the smell emitted from a chinese restaurant exhaust vent. Luckily there was no odor inside the room, which was clean and comfortable for the most part. They should invest in better pillows.

The resort is beautifu & well kept. However just worth noting the 2 bedroom villas are not villas they are apartments in quite high rise blocks, 5 or 6 floors. I would estimate. They are away from the resort centre which makes them quieter but it also means that you are furthest from the sea/beach & pools. The apartments/Condo's are luxurious though and very clean so I would not like this to put you off. If you are looking for a resort to move in and stay put for a few days this resort is great. If you are staying here as part of a sightseeing holiday you are convenient to St Augustine & only about 1.5hrs from the Kennedy Space Centre but get your tourist info before arriving as they don't have any tourist info on site. I have never stayed at a hotel anywhere else in the world where there was no tourist info & the concierge did not have any details either!

The Club at Hammock Beach was beautiful. Rooms were impecable. Pool area was great! Only downside, not much night entertainment. Also the air condintioner was in the bedroom and when it turned on it was really loud. All in all a great vacation destination.
