Location
City Oaks is on Victoria Street in the heart of Hamilton central business district, nine kilometres from Hamilton International and Domestic Airport. During free time, tourists can tee off at Callumbrae Family Golf Centre or shop at Downtown Plaza Shopping Centre.

This is the second time we have stayed here and we love its elegance and old world charm. The staff are always really pleasant and helpful and the rates are reasonable. Its location is very central and close to the casino, picture theatre and an excellent restaurant, The Three Legged frog. However the television channels need to be addressed. It is unusual to have limited basic Sky channels in a facility such as this. Also the shower rose was not up to scratch and it was like bathing under a waterfall. I believe this establishment is under new ownership and no doubt these improvements will be righted in due course. It was still an enjoyable stay and booking on line was successful. My husband also likes the under cover parking and after hours lockup. We will stay again on our next visit to Hamilton.

This hotel was brilliant for what we required....it was totally CBD...awesome cafes around it....right in the middle of the places we needed to go.... Thoroughly recommend this place for anyone wanting central, quiet accommodation in Hamilton

Right in town, and close to restaurants, casino. Car parking available which is a bonus in town. Overall, very pleased we stayed there.

Stayed 3 nights in a great big room, elegant furniture well suited to the style of the hotel. Only downer was the free WIFI, virtually no reception in our room! Other than that it was great, we tried all three adjacent cafes, very convenient.
