This 16th century Hacienda Jurica Hotel is a haven to more than four hundred years of history. This magnificent hotel, nestled in surroundings characteristic of the Spanish Colonial era in Mexico, has a magical, mystical setting. The hotel is strategically located in Queretaro, a mere two-hour drive away from Mexico City, and five minutes away from the Benito Juarez Industrial Park.

Most of the staff do not speak English which is a challenge. Great restaurant and beautiful location. The hotel is a work of art with a dingy frame needing some dusting and repair. You still feel like you're staying at a grand old hacienda, even though it needs some renovation. The rooms are fine, but my bathroom door was separating at the bottom and the lack of English skills resulted in some miscues with the staff on service, some of which were very inconvenient. A great place, but needs some TLC. GREAT FOR RUNNERS! Nice asphalt running surface running within 50 feet of front gate by the American school. I did 10K one day and didn't even get to the end. Very safe!
