Not central - but very accessible by short tram (92?) ride from city centre.

An excellent hotel which represents very good value for money in Brussels. Rooms are more than adequate and breakfast excellent. Staff very helpful. Loaction is not central but there is a good tram service nearby. Would definitely stay there again.

Nice hotel, nice bedroom & bathroom. Not in the center but very easy access with the tram and in a quiet location (good night sleep guarantee). On the negative side, the breakfast is not great, the bread not that fresh and limited choice. Watch out if you want to watch your favorite programme on TV : there's still no cable TV despite the manager's promise 2 years ago !!! good if you like Spanish channels.....

Just 4 tram stops out from Loiuse - a clean well run hotel at a good price. Grouses: internet access is charged, and access to fresh air requires a joint degree in glazing and soft furnishing. Rooms on the back are very quiet, those on the front more susceptible to intermittent noise.

Very nice hotel. No complaints about it. Is in a beautiful area of Ixelles and St Gilles with some beautiful buildings and architecture to look at. Lots of foodie and craft markets and small independent shops in the vicinity. It's about a 45 minute walk to the Centre of Brussels or there is a tram at the end of the road. We walked into town and saw parts of Brussels you'd not see if you stayed in the Centre

a great little hotel with clean and very comfortable rooms. a touch too warm for my taste, but it was the dead of a belgian winter, and the breakfast guy took his job a bit too seriously, but otherwise the service and room was top notch for a steal of a price! highly recommended!

We very much enjoyed our stay of 6 nights at the Catalonia. The desk folks were friendly and very helpful, and the breakfast that came with the price of the room was wonderfu. The location was fine but not in the center, yet it was easy to get downtown to the center by using trams and buses. I would highly recommedn the hotel, and many thanks also to Hotel City for their prompt, accurate and honest assistance in booking and paying for our stay there.

Nice hotel, good breakfast. Only slight negative was twin beds instead of the double we ordered. As we arrived late couldn't be bothered to ask for change or reconfigurement. Would be happy to stay there again though!

Apart from its location (which is too far from thecentre for me)this hotel is good value for money and worth staying in. The staff are friendly and helpful I would recommend this as a very good stop over (it is easy to find from the ringroad) which is what i used it for on my way south.

The Hotel was very clean and staff very helpful. The "weakness" of the Hotel is its location. Although you might have the impression it is near Louise, it is infact 4 tram stops away, consequently it is somewhat inconvenient to get too/from. It's location means taxi's are hard to obtain and whilst the Tram service is good (stops at midnight) if you are carrying lots of items and/or a heavy suitcase travelling on the Tram could be a hassle.

WiFi was not free of charge which is necessary. Internet access will be a basic need for every traveller in the EU.

Large room, wide breakfest choice (fruits and vegetables incl.), willing staff. Hotel is situated out of centre, but only several tram stops, which was from our viewpoint advantage - relatively quite place and wide offer of shops and restaurants for reasonable prices.

Be careful if you want to come to this hotel by car - the hotel has only 6 parking places, so if you are late you may end up driving around the neighbourhood trying to find a place to park - just as I did, plus the hotel staff doesn't seem to care too much.

the hotel is close to Avenue Louise which is great for shopping and great resturants and cafes. The service was good except for the night desk person who would menace you as you came through the door even though he knew on the second night that we were at the hotel.
