Location
H10 Rubicon Palace Hotel is located seaside in the fishing town of Playa Blanca, in the southern region of the island of Lanzarote. The hotel is only 5 km from the beaches of Papagayo and 2 km from the Ferry to Fuerteventura.

We opted for the Privilege deal which we found excellent value. We were able to dine in the smart restaurant away from the madding crowd. Having said that the hotel site is so well designed and landscaped with accommodation spread far and wide and four or five swimming pools that one always had the feeling of space and almost isolation. The promenade along the front "walks" you into Playa Blanca and is a very pleasant long stroll. We found the staff generally really friendly and helpful. We did hire a car from the airport which was really useful for touring the island on wet and windy days.

This hotel was rated as 4 star. In our opinion the standard of the room was not 4 star, the beds were very uncomfortable, the only chair was dirty and smelly. We stayed all inclusive, but were asked to pay extra for the mini bar, even just to have access to the fridge there was a charge. In other 4 star hotels we have stayed in these were included.
