Located in the rustic quaint Shamian Island, this place is perfect for those who would like to stay in a quiet place a little away from the main streets and yet easily accessible. QingPing market is just across the road, across the bridge and Shangxiajiu Street is abt 10 to 15 mins away. Other areas are easily accessible via cab or metro (Huangsha Station). There is 7-11 to the right of the east building. Service is good, rooms are clean.

The style and location of this hotel is exceptional. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and the hotel suite had quite individual features with a great colonial verandah overlooking the street. The breakfast dining room/cafe in the inner courtyard is elegant and peaceful, and the sitting rooms on every landing are quaint and inviting.

Great location - quiet tree lined streets. By far the most pleasant hotel I have stayed at in this city . Breakfast excellent , really good service, pleasant friendly staff, balcony overlooked trees

We stayed for 3 night in March. The hotel is located in the best location of guangzhou. Staff are helpful. Will recommand to friends.

Ver nice quiet location .All staff speaks english and very cooperative. good hot buffert breakfast . little taxi fare to be in middle of market . visitor must be sure to get a room with window as this hotel has some rooms without windows especially in westen part of hotel. will visit again.
