Green Park Resort Pattaya Guest Reviews
Located midway down the Soi between the main road and the beach, with hotels surrounding it. Staff are pleasantly attentive and friendly, restaurant is good but plenty of other choices close by. Rooms are standard fare for this area. The pool, reputedly the largest in Pattaya, is circular with bar facilities central. Could do with more sun loungers rather than the peculiar "seats" and could definitely do with mattresses that fit the loungers. A cosmopolitan collection of vacationers.

We stayed in a bungalow, which was kind of run down and lacked ambiance, but clean. It was set back a little so didn''t have any sort of view, but if you want privacy, it was private. The regular hotel rooms looked nicer with a balcony and a nice view of the super big lagoon type pool and grounds. Staff was friendly. We would probably choose a room next time. Location was at the south end and a bit of a walk to the action or beach, but if you wanted to stay around the pool that was nice. Hotel''s taxi to BKK airport would have cost 1,200 baht plus tolls but you could book one yourself for 800 plus tolls (150 baht). We would stay here again except we would prefer a more north location.

Considering that breakfast was not included in the price, nor were any tea making facilities available in the room, the price was a little expensive compared to similar resorts in Pattaya. The swimming pool is good and popular and there were quite a number of children at the resort. Crossing the nearby main roads to catch public transport would be a little overwhelming for the uninitiated although some transport is available directly outside the resort. We would certainly consider staying here again but not on a public holiday.

Rooms, which are large and airy, are rather tired now and in definite need of renovation. The location is not good if you want to be on a beach. The ''short'' walk to the beach is about 300 metres with a steep set of steps to encounter to get onto the beach. Swimming is impossible except at high tide as there are rocks everywhere.

The Thai food in the restaurant was good, but the breakfast buffet was terrible. Don''t waste your money! The free-form pool is excellent with plenty of loungers available. Would I go back? Probably not, but I can see its attractions for those who want privacy and do not want to have to take a taxi or a long walk to get into the centre of Pattaya town.

Great pool, Kids love it. Easy and cheap access to shopping and entertainment by taxi. Pool bar is okay for lunch. Value for money excellent. Will probably visit this hotel again.
