Great Trethew Manor is set in the heart of the countryside, surrounded by 30 acres of beautiful gardens, woodlands and meadows. The only access is a delightful half mile drive, bordered with many lovely trees and shrubs.

In the middle of the Cornish country side, great views, even peacocks displaying and decorating the grounds. The bedrooms would best be described as quirky. The four poster bed had to be placed away from the wall, thus the bedside tables were against another wall, 3 paces away. Not much room to even write a letter, television about as small as can be, the shower only an excuse for one. The staff were very nice and the restaurant very good. Not 5star but I would go again.

Tried to review it but didnt have enough characters to do it in ,Hotel run down,unclean rooms,shower bust,not friendly staff (except waitress)people who rated it 5 out of 5 must have been relations of the staff or never been to a hotel in their life.Breakfast and location fine 1out of 5 dont take anyone unless you dont like them

A pleasant stay at a country house style hotel. Breakfast was good and room clean and tidy.

Absolutely breathtaking with free wandering peacocks. This is a must for a romantic break, with gorgeous grounds and exellent food. I travel for and work and pleasure all around the Uk and world and this is one of the most originally english manors I have ever encountered.
