Grassmarket Hotel Edinburgh Guest Reviews
Right in the middle of it all. Loved the location, walking distance to everything!

The hotel was very shabby and must be due for decorating!!! reception, certain staff could and should be more friendly and give customers information on the events and features of Edinburgh!! Useful if you are not a local to Scotland!! The food in the pub next door is good however the portions could be more generous! The noise coming from this was loud and if staying at the front would be uncomfortable however it rained so this was helpful as we stayed at the front.

A perfect hotel for a stay in Edinburgh. Nice and friendly personal and a nice clean room (no 401) for a cheap price. The room was close to the elevator, but we nerver heard any noice from it. Even the location is very good (close to the royal mile and Edinburgh castle). Would gladly recommend it to anyone is going to visit Edinburgh!

Hotel is located in a very central area. Rooms are a little bit small though but very clean and comfartable. For the price you are paying I think this hotel is a great deal. Will definately stay there again the next time I am In Edingburgh

I have read a few reviews regarding this hotel, to be honest i was worried when i got there! I was pleasantly surprised! The hotel was spotlessly clean, we ended up with a triple for the price of a twin...so their was loads of room. My only complaint would be that the room was very warm! Just typical British hotels where there usually isnt the need for AC. The roadway was a bit noisy when the windows were open..but Hey what do you expect its a busy city!
