Grassland Hotel Hoi An Guest Reviews
The room is comfortable, esp with a balcony. Price is reasonable but the location is a bit far from the ancient town, 20 mins walk.

Rooms were pleasant with balcony seating too. Pool & aircon kept the temperature down. The staff were quite friendly as they got to know me and were most helpful particularly in regard to onward bookings and reservations. I would stay here again.

the hotel is not exactly walking distance but located in an area that is near the heritage town, about 8 minute walk straight down. they have free bikes available for a quick cycle to town or the beach. after check in all hotels here will want you to have some clothes tailored at their shop in town. they are better at suits, winter clothes and variation of the local formal dress. just try one for size and if you like the service, have more made. it is not expensive but not necessarily cheap, if you are asian with good tailoring shops in your country too. the lovely ladies at the reception can book your tours, flights, etc. at very minimal mark up. breakfast is basic but there are so many cafes and restaurants in town soon as you do the walk.

Well priced hotel (US$20/night )but a bit far out of town, however they gave us free transport to the edge of the Hoi An ancient town and back again. Taxi booking using their service to get to Danang airport also cheaper than regular metered taxi. Girls were helpful if seemingly abrupt. When you get to know them and talk to them they are really nice and helpful. Just their style of english may put some people off at first. Sometimes if your aircon doesn't work it may be the master switch downstairs (which I found out after a slightly uncomfortable night). Free breakfasts are really just an omelette and bread and a drink (coffee, juice etc) which is ok. Had to order and pay for extra which is ok. Garden is nice. Pool is small but nice. Can get a bit noisy in the morning as it is on the main road into town so can get a few buses and trucks honking. I'd probably look for a hotel in the centre of town next time even if I had to pay a little more.

The staff were very friendly and helpful and provided a lift into town upon request as the hotel is a little out of the way. The hotel cleanliness could be improved though as the shower curtain was very dirty and the bed blankets were quite itchy. Very cheap though & they were able to book buses to Hoi An effenciently & cheaply.
