The hotel I stayed at was beautiful and the staff was really nice. My only concern is that you have to walk a half block with your luggage to get you to your hotel. I wasn't used to not having a taxi pick you up and take you directly to your hotel. If you want to go to St. Mark's Square, then you would have to take the water bus which is 4 stops away from Lido. The spa was very relaxing. Too bad there wasn't a gym to go along with it. Other than a couple of minor things, I would stay at this hotel again. It was a very relaxing trip.

Friendly staff, clean rooms, old world charm, great breakfast and only a 15 minute boat ride from San Marco.

Very impressing building outside and inside with its old Palace-style decor. Very good location for Lido: on the main street close to the beach as well as the water taxis to Venice and the airport. Rooms very nicely decorated with massive bed. Big bathroom with bath, but no shower. Not many international TV channels. Price/service ratio is good, considering the general "rip-off" hotel prices in Venice.
