To begin with it was not the location we requested. We requested a beach front hotel with the room on the beach front. It turned out to be a block away from the beach. We were very dissapointed. When we got to the room ,my husband and I went into our room and when we started to come out the door would not open.If it had not been for our son-in-law we wouldn't have gotten out of the room.It never did get fixed the whole time we were there.

Let's get right to it. The days inn was at its best 'just ok'. When checking we met one of the hotel managers (mickey) who was nothing less than amazing. She was very helpful and gave us the warmest welcome we have ever recieved in our past hotel stays. We had a king suit, wich was on the second floor. Walking up to our room there was a very strong odor on the outside of the hotel thatwas pretty bad,and we didn't know exactly where that came from. When we got into our room,it was fairly spacious and looked very clean. Me and my boyfriend proceeded to check the room for cleanliness and found that the bathtowels were dingy and the floor of the bathtub had 'rust-like' spots . We didn't much like having to wear flipflops in the shower. We check our bed sheets and they have large unknown stains all over them and random peices of hair all through the sheets.we were forced to sleep on top of the covers for the first night. the next morning we asked house keeping if we could have clean sheets, and they gladly changed them for us. The mattress was very firm not soft at all,but we didn't mind.we still got a great sleep. The pool was very clean and nice. This hotel was literally a few steps to the beach (across the street). Even though we stayed close to the beach it wasn't a lot of noise, when we went to sleep at night. We both got a great nights sleep every night that we stayed there.all in all if you are under 21 and you just need a place to lay your head down for a cheap price then this is it realize YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR but if you really want to relax and not have to worry about sheets or the bathroom I would say shell out a little extra cash to go 1st class. For us we will definitely spend a little extra money next time

First, the trip booked [...] was not correct and [...]nor the hotel would correct the dates. As a result, we were charged $103.00 for a night in which we did not stay at the hotel. When we arrived, we found the room dirty, the bathroom was inundated with mold around the shower. The toilet overflowed, and the maintenace guy mopped up the water with a bunch of bath towels. BTW, the bath towels were supposed to be white, but they were clearly not cleaned correctly. We killed two roaches, and the air conditioner was so loud that we were not able to sleep very well. The hotel has a no refund cancellation policy. My guess is that people get there and cancel after seeing the place. I have photos and will provide upon request. Will never use [...] THAT hotel again.

The ONLY two good things about this "hotel" is proximity to the ocean and swimming pool. The rest is: drunken, loud, rude guests; nasty, filthy, sticky-carpet, huge-roaches-in-my-babes'-crib rooms; ultra loud cleaning ladies who can't read the "Do Not Disturb" sign; mean, unhelpful and highly rude front desk stuff. I can go on for a while, but trust me, these are the things you will find at Days Inn Myrtle Beach-Grand Strand, if you take your young kids, your wife and your mom to have a quiet 2 week vacation near the beach. And to top it all, they even declined my request to get point for TWO rooms I booked for 14 nights. P.S. Almost forgot, the very last night, someone hit my new car with a fist and left a big dent in it. Sure, it could be anyone coming thru the parking lot, but doesn't it say something about their security... Or, I suspect, it could be one of the mean people from the front desk...
