Location
Grand Park City Hall is on Coleman Street in the Civic District of Singapore, near Fort Canning Park. For entertainment, tourists go shopping at Orchard Road, watch shows at Esplanade-Theatres on the Bay and explore Resorts World Sentosa and Universal Studios Singapore.

Could hardly fault this hotel. We stayed in the crystal club section which was exceptional. Service, amenities and location all 1st class.

When releasing the bathwater, it leaked and flooded the bathroom. The room had a constant, strong musty/mouldy smell. The aircon was adjusted to 16 degrees but the room never felt cool. I've stayed opposite the street at the Peninsula a few times and would recommend there for the price and quality.

Stayed in Grand Park Hotel City Hall for 6 nights (checked in Sept 27, checked out Oct 3). Great location. 5 minute walk to MRT station. A few minutes walk to Raffles City. Bomi, the lady in the reception is very nice. Check in was quick. In less than 10 minutes, we're already in the room. We had the executive floor of the Crystal Club. Huge compared to Park Hotel Clarke Quay where we stayed for 10 nights in early September. Bathroom is small and the drainage is noisy whenever one uses the sink or the bath tub. Very annoying at first. But no worries. It's just a small concern. Unfortunately, our room was near the site which is being constructed. Sometimes, it's just too noisy. But bearable. Rizwan is nice. He attended to our needs and see to it we're enjoying our stay to the fullest. He was also all ears to every concern we have. I also have to mention the driver of the free shuttle bus, Uncle Alan. He is so nice and gave me some tips on where to eat or have a walk whenever he drives us to Orchard or Clarke Quay. He was able to recognize me when I stepped out of Peninsula Shopping Mall. He knew I used to stay in Park Clarke Quay Hotel. It feels good to be remembered. I also have to mention Jeannie, a very nice and accommodating gal in Rizwan's team. When she learned I am with my father-in-law who's in wheelchair, she even offered to see him in the room if everyone's will be out. She gave me tips on where to go. She told me I won't be able to buy working clothes in Bugis Junction since it's a place where most goods are for teenagers. She even offered to email me on where I can go to buy what I need. Really nice since this is extra service beyond her work. Crystal Club Lounge is always great. Everyone, is very friendly and helpful. They make sure every guest feels at home. They polish their craft. While doing my thing in the business center, i overheard ( in two instances) how managers train their staffs. I did a lot of works in their business center where I had free flow of refreshments. Cocktails as ever is great. This serves as our dinner. :) And did I mention 2 free pieces for laundry everyday? We even had a late check out at 6pm. Just amazing and really wanting me to get back. Compared to Park Clarke Quay Hotel's breakfast, Grand Park Hotel has more varieties to offer. I love their individually wrapped kaya and peanut butter spread. Though eggs were usually cold, it has hard boiled, sunny side up and poached. Congee is not hot enough. Nonetheless, it exudes class in itself. My sister loves the pool and jacuzzi. I was just too busy to take a dip. Am coming again anytime soon this month to enjoy Grand Park Hotel for the second time :) See you soon!

I was in Singapore only for one night with a late flight back on the second day. The hotel staff were excellent. They allowed me to check out at 1pm at no extra cost and gave me complimentary room use in the evening to freshen up before my departure. The hotel staff were incredibly attentive and friendly.
