Location
Grand Mercure Roxy Hotel is on the East Coast Road in Singapore, next to public transport stations. A city tour is not complete without stopping by Gardens by the Bay and Orchard Road or checking out the bustling Boat Quay and Clarke Quay.

Nice & close to the airport, free transport from airport which is very handy, also shops over the road which also is handy. Free internet. And on Saturdays & sundays they have a bus that drops you off free also in city & Marina Quay.

After a poor hotel in KL this hotel revived our spirits. The hotel is a little out of the city but still convenient as it cost us $1.50 by bus and $10 by taxi for transport. The lobby looks impressive and while the check in process seems a little slow thats about all one can complain about. The staff were professional and courteous. The room was a good size and we found it very comfortable. First time i've come across small reading lights on each side of the bed that give readble light. We chose to eat in town or at the mall opposite but there were ample choices at the hotel. The transfer to the airport on departure was a bonus as is the free in room wifi.

If you are breaking a long flight with a night in Singapore the free hotel transfer to and from the airport makes this a more econmical option than an airport hotel. Its location is not perfect for visiting the City, but for a comfortable bed with great staff, this is the place.

This is a good location as it is quiet and out of the city. There is a lovely pool, BUT the chlorine is VERY strong, and I could not see properly or read for over 24 hours after using the pool!!! On our return trip we did not stay in this hotel because of the pool.

From arrival at the airport and getting on the Hotels shuttle bus, with the ease of check in and pleasant room to our departure in reverse it is a pleasure to stay at The Mercure Roxy. The Shopping centre opposite is so convenient with plenty of options of shopping and eating. On the other hand it is only approx$14 Singapore taxi to the city and just as easy to catch the bus for approx $3.50. Originally we stayed at the Roxy in transit but whenever we are travelling now we stop over and stay here and feel very comfortable with everythiing. Not perfect but neither is a 5star. We always recommend.
