good value to stay

Very comfortable room:bed, bathroom, a/c and lighting of a good standard. Room service and dining room excellent. I complained to reception about a small thermos flask containing fresh milk having been removed from our Mini-bar fridge. On Check-out, I was asked for an estimate of its value and this was immediately credited to our room account even though there was no admitted knowledge of the thermos having been taken!

The best stay ever, and I travel very frequently all over Australia and NZ. One thing that I suggest to people - leave your luggage in the car when checking in or out, otherwise you will need to lug the cases up the stairs (or down, depending om which level you are on). Best to catch the lift from the basement car park if you have luggage.

I only stayed at Hills Lodge for one night but found all the hotel facilities and services to be very good value from the bar and bar prices, the flexibility of dining arrangements to the standard of the large comfortable room. It was certainly good enough to book again and I am looking forward to my next stay.
