Needed an easily accessed meeting point for family members travelling from different points. Handy to car rentals, shopping , stations, variety of eating places,.. . Staff efficient but unintrusive. If price right again, would definitely return.

Stayed two nights for pleasure. Room is great. No real view but panoramic and nice. Quiet end room. Only used room service which was good. Don't know if its their restaurant food, which I read terribly reviews on but ours was fine and dessert really good. Nice size. Excellent location convenient to Union Square, financial district, walkable to bus train subway cable cars... price is good for the area, great value for the area. Oh and they were booked but allowed us free late checkout. Front door guys are awesome and go out of their way for you, held our luggage while we walked around after checkout. Counter people were friendly as well. Limo/taxi front door service.

Hotel was great, clean modern style room, perfect view, stayed on concierge level, breakfast and happy hour snacks were wonderful. Elevators were fast so you were never waiting. Location was perfect, near great shopping and the cable car line. Only took 1 cab entire stay and it was because we were running late for a dinner reservation. The concierge was perfect at picking the restaraunts and she was never wrong. I would reccomend to anyone.

The hotel is directly located at the union square in the heart of SF. The hotel staff is very nice and helpful. The rooms are very spacious as very clean! It's a great place to stay and the top roof bar is also a eye-catcher! I can definitely recommend this hotel.

RIGHT ON UNION SQUARE - THE SHOPPING AREA. RCENTLY RENOVATED ROOMS.. YOU CAN WALK TO MANY ATTRACTIONS. STAIN ON CARPET WAS UGLY. NO WRITING PAPER IN ROOM.. NO MINI-BAR, BUT IT DID HAVE A COFFEE MAKER, WHICH I USED FOR BREAKFAST. DINNING ROOM ON 27 FLOOR WAS DEPRESSING BUT WILL BE RENOVATED. HOWEVER, GREAT VIEWS. CONCIERGE SERVICES WERE EXCELLENT..

Our room was very nice, it felt clean, which is huge for me. Concierges were extremely helpful! Great location, walked everywhere we wanted to go, or a 1/2 block to the muni. Shopping just down the street-great stay!

The hotel concierge desk was extremely helpful during our trip. They were able to direct us to the best place to catch the cable cars without waiting. The hotel rooms were newly remodeled and extremely comfortable. Unfortunately our room (610) was facing another building and a parking garage and the view was extremely poor. We should have requested another room but didn't. Next time we will. The view from the Grandview Restaurant on the 36th floor is absolutely amazing and the food was good too! Will definitely come back! If you're looking for something different, take a walking tour through the Muir Woods with [...]. He is the only licensed vendor in the city, extremely knowledgeable about the redwoods and will pick you up at your hotel, provide a packed picnic lunch and drop you off (after a 3 mile hike in the Muir woods) at the Sausalito Ferry. It's well worth the $60 and probably one of the most beautiful and memorable tours you'll ever do. Wonderful photos as well!

This was an excellent Hotel. The room was newly remodeled. The hotel was centrally located by Union Square and the Concierge service was extraordinary. We'll definitely be staying here on our next planned trip.

The staff was clearly "under-trained". A few examples, a mix-up in the arrangement of a rental car; the inability to fix our room's TV, with one technician declaring that nothing was wrong (it was eventually fixed)and the desk clerk on checkout declaring that I didn't get a receipt because the room was booked through [...](Can you believe that?). Ultimately I just said print me a copy. Most staff demonstrated a screw you attitude. The room, while OK, was strangely laid out-- just an observation.

We arrived on Friday morning around 10am. Are room was on the 17th floor, and the accomodations were great. The room included a safe that really made me happy. The bed was so comfortable and the pillows too, I slept like a log. The conceige staff John & Joanna were wonderful! They both were very informative and really helped us plan our stay.

The hotel was beautifully decorated and very comfy/cozy. The only thing is that I wished we would of been able to get a room with a view. That was kind of dissapointing. We had a view from the third floor of the ugly air conditioning units. I wanted to go to the Cheesecake Factory Restuarant and all I had to do is say that we were staying at the Hyatt and they got us right in with no reservations which was 2 hours on Saturday night. Had a table on the roof with a beautiful view of Union Square. Very nice. I would highly recommend it. Hotel came through and the staff was very accomodating.

The Hyatt was the perfect hotel to stay at, meeting all my expectations. I've never slept in a hotel bed that was exactly like being at home! The staff was the best, friendly, helpful, informative and very gracious. I'd definitely book another stay at the Hyatt on Union Square.

My husband and I had a wonderful time at Grant Hyatt Hotel SF with excellent services. All staff were very courteous and helpful, the hotel location was ideal as we could walk to popular shopping locations such as Macy's and Westfield shopping complex. We definitely will visit this hotel again next time we are in SF. I strongly recommend this hotel without any reservations.
