Location
Grand Hyatt Hotel is ideally situated on Harbour Road, just a few steps from Wan Chai Subway Station. Tourists on a Hong Kong vacation should not miss the attractions at Ocean Park and the Symphony of Lights at Victoria Harbour.

All 549 rooms and suites feature floor-to-ceiling windows with pool, garden and harbour views and appointments like 42-inch cable/satellite TV, wireless Internet access, air conditioning and safe deposit box. Suites have walk-in closet or separate sitting area.
Restaurant
Diners at Grand Hyatt Hong Kong can sample Italian, Cantonese and Japanese flavours at Grissini, One Harbour Road and Kaetsu. Savour steaks and hot drinks at Grand Hyatt Steakhouse and Tiffin.

- NOTICE: Hotel rooms will be going through renovation from Jan. 2, 2013 to Aug. 31, 2014. Renovation will be conducted three to five floors at a time, on weekdays between 10am and 5pm. Construction noise is expected, but no noisy work during weekends and public holidays. The room renovation project will have limited impact on the over-all experience as there are no planned public area projects in the hotel. All nine restaurants and bars, Plateau Spa, fitness studios, pool and business centre will remain in normal operations.

I was not impressive of quality of service at all. Staff are not friendly and service-minded. Moreover, I had to queue for breakfast more than 20 minutes that it''s never happened elsewhere I visited. However, I love the hotel room and facilities.

We chose the Grand Hyatt out of other choices largely because of the outdoor pool and leisure area. When we got there we were told it was closed for renovations. Very disappointing and this should have been posted on their website. Management were very reluctant to make any recompense but ultimately felt able to let us have a bottle of red wine and an apology for lack of information. That said the views from our room were stunning and the whole hotel was luxurious and comfortable.

The toilet was not completely clean (not really what you expect in a five star hotel) and the swimming pool is closed in winter so is the jacuzzi. Overall it is a nice hotel with friendly staff and nice harbour view. Breakfast NOT included and therefore slightly overpriced.
