We spent two nights at the hotel and we really enjoyed it. Even though the corridors did not make a very good impression, the apartment was wonderful: spacious, with two flatscreens, modern kitchen and warm lighting (unfortunately one bulb was broken and couldn't be replaced at short notice). The pool is a little bit shady but okay.

On the second night we awoke to a loud sound at 3am to find that one of the frosted glass doors to the bedroom had cracked, this continued to splint through the night until 7am, during which time we did not sleep as we were worried the whole lot would collapse onto the bed. Reception only has limited hours during the day. We had the inconvenience of having to move rooms. For a hotel that has only been open three months this was very disappointing. We would not choose to stay here again when in Townsville.
