The staff there are very nice and helpful...but...felt disappointed about the room & bathroom, have to say, simple & crude. Can't link anything to the name of this hotel - 'grand'. Sorry to say won't have another try in future.

Had a good weekend with grandchildren. Bed very comfortable; only milk for 1 drink in fridge; cobwebs around light in bathroom. Continental breakfast was very nice

The hotel was everything I expected and they met all the usual requirements of cleanliness and service that would be expected. The exterior of the hotel is not pretty; but I don't look at the architecture while inside the room. The staff were friendly and helpful and I have had good value for money. I would definitely stay again. - Thank you.

The hotel is in a great location, the food at the kiwi ale house was the best meal we had in nz. The staff were lovely. Very happy with our stay there!
