The desk clerk (Sebastien) was helpful and friendly when we checked in The elevator is small, but the view from our 5th floor room was great. Nice bathroom, tea and coffee making in room. The totel is located on a beautiful street and we could walk to both rivers, the old town, cathedral, Place Bellecour, museums and Roman remains. Nice welcome drink, good continental breakfast and lunch box each day (which I have to say we did not use, but still nice)!

good location - close to both the rivers and the historic old town. about 20-30 minutes walk from the central train station (lyon part dieu). newly renovated. the room we stayed in was too tiny for 2-persons.

A hotel situated right in the center of the city with a popular and very good café/bar/restaurant just in front of the lobby. Excellent base for shopping and other activities downtown Lyon.

Staff were very friendly, but it was frustrating to be told on arrival at 11am that I couldn't get to my room until 2pm (especially having been travelling since 5am). Breakfast was a bit paltry, especially for 9 euros. Still, the location was excellent and was well connected to the metro and buses at Cordeliers. My room had a great view of Fourviere, and the double windows meant that it was a quiet room.
