Grand Hotel De L'Avenue Paris Guest Reviews
A bit noisy but I slept well in a good bed anyway. the eleveator was broken and they were nice enough to put me in a room on the 1st floor so I did not need to lag my luggage up several floors.

Good basic room although looking a bit dated from the last time I stayed here. Very helpful staff and very handy location. No air conditioning.

Our room was on the fourth floor and the lift was not working. There was no one to take our luggage up. After requesting a lot the person at the reception took our luggage. When we were checking out, there was no one at all to bring our luggage down. After we spoke to the person and persuaded him, he sent some one from the kitchen to help us bring down the luggage. Climbing up and down 4 floors was not easy at all. I would not like to recommend this hotel to anyone. The location was too noisy. The only good part was that there was a supermarket close by and the metro station was not too far (I would not say too close as well).

Convenient hotel to get to anywhere in Paris, small room but comfortable, nice view over the tree lined street, plain but decent breakfast, staff very friendly and helpful. Would stay there again.

Very good all-round service and location - easy access to Metro. Ask for a room away from the street front - Avenue Republique is a major traffic route all day AND all night!
