Location
Not just well placed for the attractions on the south banks of the river, the Grand Hotel is also well positioned for the railway station, Duomo, Campanile di Giotto and Basilica di Santa Croce.
Rooms
The Grand Hotel's one hundred and twenty six rooms and suites are sound proofed. Rooms also feature parquet flooring, air conditioning, satellite TV, wireless Internet access, safe and mini bar.
Restaurant
Hotel guests can choose from the Opera and La Vela restaurants, with menus featuring everything from Tuscan to international dishes. During the summer an American breakfast can also be taken at the indoor garden.
General
The Grand Hotel Adriatico is an internationally run, comfortable and friendly hotel with good facilities in an excellent location. The hotel also offers its guests a lounge, bar, shops, parking facilities, and airport transfers. The hotel's multi lingual staff are on hand twenty four hours a day to help with tourist information and reservations for tours and tickets of the Uffizi and Galleria dell'Accadamia.

Grand Hotel Adriatico Florence Guest Reviews
It doesn't look like much from the outside, but once inside it is a grand old hotel. Its a little past its prime but clean and comfortable. Staff is friendly and helpful. The included breakfast buffet is excellent. The location is great. Walking distance to the river, consulate, train station and car rentals. I would stay there again if in Florence. There is a very nice local restaurant across the street.

The hotel staff are all very friendly and this is a real stand out from our 3-week stay in Italy. The room is cosy and well-appointed. Location is handy if you are going to take a few day trips out of the city, as it is just 5-minute walk to the train station. Pricing is average considering it is not a modern 4-star hotel.

The location is good it is near the Milan Central Railway Station. The breakfast was good. The room was big and clean.

Near to train station but quite a long walk to other parts of the city attractions. Room is pretty small and a bit pricy for the two days of my stay. Breakfast quality is basic compared to the other hotels that I have stayed in Italy.
