A proper 5-star hotel with an excellent buffet breakfast and room service, perfectly situated with very quiet, well-appointed rooms. Attentive staff and live music everywhere. An excellent choice.

Beautiful and stylish Art Deco hotel. Service really excellent: 5-star hotels so often promise you much, however this is the first 5-star hotel we stayed in that really makes its promises come true. The only thing that could improve is the price- but then any hotel price in Moscow or in St Petersburg is outrageous. At least the price we obtained via [the website] was the best on offer.

This Hotel is one of the best I have stayed in. Wonderful location, beutiful rooms and the most amazing breakfast you will ever find in Russia. I will be back.

The interiors are beautifully restored and staying here feels like staying in one of the palaces of St. Petersburg. Breakfast in the L'Europe dining room to the sounds of the harpist on our first morning made the long flight worthwhile.
