This hotel is a bit dated but is quite relaxing. Unfortunately there are not many resturants within walking distance and the beach is a bit rough for swimming.

Great place to stay if not interested in night life but even than it is possible to go by free shuttle bus. Liked the balinese style, very friendly people, super breakfast buffet. Very accommodating.

A rather worn and somewhat dated hotel room with no working air-conditioner during a very hot period despite attempts to patch it up (should have been replaced a number of years ago). Staff very friendly and food more than adequate. Location is good but a wee way (approx 8km) from the main tourist areas with a limited shuttle service with no return facility necessitating a taxi fare to return.

the hotel was rated as 4 star but 3 star would be more accurate. It is located right on the beach which is great but you need to catch a taxi to get to main shopping and dinning areas, although you could walk along the beach, but there is no path. It is well priced and peace full, but not a lot of activities . It was very quiet when we visited and i can imagine the pool area would be very crowded if the hotel was full. The beach has a strong current and waves but there is one life guard on duty all day.

Grand Balisani looks really beautiful. The pool area is lovely and it's a very rustic building with a lot of charm. Staff are very firendly and cannot do enough to help. It is in a little village so there are not many amenities nearby and the hotel only has one restaurant. You can walk along the beach to Ku De Ta the famous bar but other than that you need to take a taxi into Seminyak or Kuta. If you ask them to put their meter on it shouldn't cost much, certainly not to Seminyak so you can have the relaxation and seclusion of the hotel but still eat at nice places and shop. The hotel offer a free shuttle bus to Kuta but not a return service-you have to reserve in advance so not for people who like to do things on spec. I would stay in Seminyak next time to find a balance between vibrant Kuta and relaxation, or rather go to Lombok for true relaxation, but it is a lovely hotel.

The environment of the hotel is great, it is surrounded by greens and also at the seaside. The room is clean except for mosquitos in the room. Overall the hotel is worth the money, I will go back again.

Our stay in Grand Balisani Suites was great. Staff are friendly and attentive. Hotel is well located, in the Batubuleg beach. Having breakfast every day in front of the sea will be an unforgettable experience. Rooms are well sized and confortable. Shutle bus avalable is really successful. Nice place to enjoy tranquility and pace by the sea.

Relaxing, quiet small resort at far end of Kuta area, roughly 15 minutes from the shopping areas by taxi or shuttle. There are several good warong restaurants in walking distance out of resort if you tire of the hotel''s selection. Staff is very helpful and service was always with a smile. Beach is not swimmable nor are there facilities for sunbathing, but it is readily seen and heard from the property so you definitely feel the beach by bathing on the lawn above the sand.

The hotel was poorly managed and there were on many occasions no staff which knew how to serve drinks from behind the bar so no alcoholic drinks were served unless there was someone there who could do it!! Food and drink prices had gone up considerably since my previous stay two years ago. Two years ago the pool bar was not working due to the fridge being out of action but we were assured that this was being fixed very soon! On arrival this year the pool bar was still not working but were given the same explanation!

Great location if you''re looking to get away from the more developed parts of Sem/Leg/Kuta. The beach is not a swimming beach but great to look at. The rooms are pretty bit with a nice balcony. We had a room tucked away in the back which made our balcony private, but others are more exposed to the courtyards. The bathrooms are definitely in need of an overall, but not dirty. Just can tell the hotel is over a decade old. Would go back for the same rate $35/double.

Traditional Balinese style hotel in a nice quiet location and reasonably priced. Staff very friendly and helpful. I will certainly return to this hotel and will recommend to friends. I would however suggest that some of that the rooms are are refurbished and that remote televisions are installed. Good value for money.

The restaurant was very quiet in the evenings. The rooms were very good and the Balisani style of the place was very impressive.
