In all of my travels in the US, this is by far the best value you can get for the money! European style hotel with grand entrance, marble and columns as far as the eye can see! Staff was very courteous and it was obvious that they were trained down to perfection with us guests to be treated as kings and queens. Will will always use this hotel when we travel to SLC!

I was attending the Nu Skin Convention in Salt Lake City and all I needed was a room to sleep. I booked my travel and room thru Orbitz . I had never done both together before on any other site. Wow was I surprised and impressed. I've stayed in 5 star hotels before and I've paid 5 star prices. I wanted 1 room with a kingsize bed. I got a suite that was beautifully furnished, huge bath and dressing area, mountain views from the dressing area and the sitting area. When I go back, I'm back in this hotel. Thank you Orbitz!!!!

The Grand America is easily the nicest hotel in Salt Lake City. As someone who isn't a millionaire, it was definitely a millionaire experience. The staff were friendly, helpful, and always willing to provide the best possible experience without any attitude. They have a wealth of amenities; and the in-hotel restaurant, salon, spa and valet parking were incredibly convienent and worth the price. The food is as good as anywhere in Salt Lake as well; whether it's the room service or Garden Cafe; and worth the cost. The check in and out were easy, simple, with no hidden charges like some hotels. Lastly, the twice daily room service was a great touch. The only negative was a few of the additional charges for staying at the hotel. The two that were frustrating for us were the additional cost for parking per day, and daily charge for using the spa (which includes the only access to the indoor pool, hot tub, and fitness center). Although they were reasonable prices, it just seemed inconsistent with all the other courtesies the hotel offers. Staying here was an amazing experience; and the bad part was having to go home!
