Gran Hotel Guadalpin Marbella & Spa Guest Reviews
I'm very pleased with my stay at this hotel. I give it all "5"s except of the location & facilities ("4"). This was a _very_ good deal for a double room; internet included. No money back, however, but I risked anyway. When arrived, no double rooms were available so I was upgraded to a junior suite for free. So I'd give it "6" for the price, but obviously you might be less lucky. Location - perfectly fine for me, but I assume most would like to be as close to a beach as possible, so I give it 4. But don't get fooled by the absolutely wrong location hotelclub shows! It's situated not that bad - about 200-300 meters from the sea. The service was really excellent - any slightest problem/question was immediately taken care of. Facilities: the furniture & wall/ceiling paint show the age just a little bit. TV is not a modern flat one. Thus "4". But the bathrooms are clean and modern. The restaurant is not expensive and food is tasty.

Nice and luxurious. Spa hot circuit bath is recommendable.

Not everything is 5 star standard, but still a very nice hotel in pricy Marbella. The service of the staff could use some work.

Hotel room was excellent and very comfortable. Kitchen facility in the room was great. We got a good winter deal for 4 nights so it was great value for money. Being able to park our rental car outside with no charge was perfect but I suspect the spaces would not be available in high season. Breakfast was also very good with everything fresh and loads of choice. Would definately recommend the hotel to others.

Unfortunately the suite I had was really a bit on the tacky side, very old fashioned, really needed some TLC! paint coming off walls, terrace had green moss on it, air conditioner was really noisy, jacuzzi broke down twice, etc. In saying that however, it was still very nice and a good price. The food was another thing, inexpensive, but for a five star hotel I would say in regards to other restaurants, the buffet was an abomination unfortunately! The worst paella I have EVER tasted and trust me, I know, I lived in Spain for 11 years!!
