Geographically, the hotel is in an excellent location, close enough to the center, yet in order to reach the hotel, it is so confusing that even my navigator could not find it, and when I eventually added its location as a favorite, the navigator kept directing me to drive through a pedestrian walkway to get to the hotel. No actual concierge staff to advise in regards to the town's ins and outs, but the friendly front desk staff try to make up for it. WIFI is available, yet in my case it kept going off line, prompting me to keep repeating the entry of the login and password. Having said that, at check-out, the front desk staff member said that was not suppose to happen, and it might have been fixed if I let them know about it during my stay. All in all, not a bad hotel if you can live with the above issues, and if they don't skimp on the good rooms by giving you a room with two single beds, which I was first given, before they luckily rectified...due of course to the fact that I reserved a room with a king bed.

This is a great Hotel in a great location - its 5 star in terms of facilities, without the over the top welcoming and pampering of other 5 stars which can be a turn off at the beach! We got a deal on the suites with the roof top terraces with Jaccuzi and it was top class. We even ordered a meal to the roof one night and the staff had no problem delivering it up there. Great beach behind hotel with some lovely beach restaurants. Its a short stroll to Puerto Banus along the beach (7-8 mins) for all types of restaurants etc. We even had our breakfast delivered late to the room for a small charge of a couple of euro at 11.30 am. Will definitely stay here again, whether as a couple or with a group of friends

We stayed in this hotel for 5 nights on B&B basis in February. The hotel was clean but in our opinion was more of a 4 than 5 star. Breakfast was excellent. The room on this website stated it had coffee/tea facilities but the hotel said this wasn`t included in the room rate. I also needed a sewing kit for a minor repair but the hotel didn`t have one. The toiletries were not Bulgari and very limited. The location is very poor and unless you want to sit on the beach all day or have a car you are stuck. The access to Puerto Banus is a difficult 15 minute walk along the beach which in the winter is very lonly and dark. The other option is to walk along the busy road which in Feb was like a motoway so who knows how dangerous it must be in the busy periods. Unless you have a car I wouldn`t recommend it here if you have children. The hotel shuttle bus to its sister hotel in Marbella is a very good service but be aware if you plan to use it to see the town it is quite a walk from the centre.

Excellent service, some very friendly staff. Staff worked all hours all weekend, felt sorry for them! We were upgraded to a suite for free overlooking the sea, excellent value for money!
