reception desk staff unfriendly (except guy at weekends) other staff very friendly though! not really within walking distance of centre - about an hour or more depending on your pace etc. I'd say average for cost

Not the most central, but for the area, and what we needed, it was ideal. The small pool, and sitting area, was a definite bonus.

Nice and unique hotel. Management keep trying, and succeds, to improve things if and when getting wrong.

By far the best feature of the hotel are the Junior Suites. Our child stayed in the living room, and we had our own, separate bedroom with a nice "glasshouse" style balcony, great to have breakfast in the morning. The hotel was very very quiet (except the noise of the neighbouring guests having a shower) and there are several bakeries nearby to have breakfast.
