Graffiti Hostel New York Guest Reviews
I wouldn't call this hotel value-for-money although it's very cheap and located in a good location (upper Manhattan) since quality of the rooms outweigh everything else: it's so far the worst hotel (hostel) I've ever visited - wouldn't suggest this one to anyone!

this hotel was extremely basic. the price is very low, so it is ideal for budget travellers, but do not expect much for your money. it badly needs to be renovated. the rooms are very old and a bit grotty, and the same goes for the bathroom. however the bathrooms are cleaned everyday, so they weren't too dirty. fine if you want a cheap place to stay with a relatively good location, but it is literally a place to sleep in and then to escape from as soon after you wake up as possible.

Close to public transport. Room was a little rough, but clean enough and bathrooms close by.
